GOVERNOR OTTI SPENT N4.74BN ON TRANSPORTATION IN 9 MONTHS

Popular political analyst Mr. Eke O. ako. has taken to his Facebook page to allege that Governor of Abia State, Gov. Alex Otti spent 4.7 billion Naira on transportation in transportation.

He wrote:

GOVERNOR OTTI SPENT N4.74BN ON TRANSPORTATION IN 9 MONTHS

1. Governor Alex C. Otti is the only governor in Nigeria who runs a state from his home, yet he spent N526.22m per month on travel expenses.

2. While running Abia as a Ltd company from his home, he spent N4.74bn on transportation in just 9 months.

3. He spent N526.22m mostly traveling from his bedroom to his lounge/living room… this governor thing sweet die!

4. Apart from visiting churches, he has rarely visited any government office or Ministry in his 14 months as Abia Governor, yet he spent N832.6m on local travels in 9 months.

5. Abians have continued to query where he packed the 2.77bn vehicles he bought for his office within the 9 months.

6. He repaired the new vehicles with N277.2m while they were still under warranty, and fuelled them with N288.3m in just 9 months. Elon Musk doesn’t spend this amount sending his rockets to space and return to earth.

7. To travel to Hungary and Rwanda on fruitless visits, he took N320.2m.

8. The man who came to save Abia, still collected N299m for his transport allowances during the 9 months.

9. Yet he asks retirees to forfeit their retirement benefits.

10. No new school or hospital project was visited, no new industrial layout was visited, no new ICT center or agric facility was visited, no new farm was established, no fresh construction project was visited, no new law court was visited, no new refuse conversion plant was visited, yet several billions was claimed for building these projects that don’t exist anywhere.

HELP HAS INDEED COME!

Recall that Governor Alex won his gubernatorial bid with Labour Party.
